The Girl Scouts are the largest volunteer organization in the nation. Our volunteers can serve in many different positions relevant to their interest, expertise, and availability. Volunteers can serve as troop leaders, assistant leaders, special interest group leaders, speakers, board committees, board members, camp assistants, and many other positions.
Requirements for becoming a Girl Scout volunteer are as follows:
- Complete the volunteer application form and provide references.
- Complete the GSUSA registration form and pay $10 dues fee.
- Complete required orientation and training appropriate to the position.
